    You probably don't need 0w-30 in San Diego but in colder climates it makes huge sense. Youtube some pour tests done at cold temps and you'll be shocked at to see what your oil looks like at -25 degrees which is realistic where I live at times. All 30 weight oils(same manufacturer) perform similar at operating temp but the damage comes at start up, It hurts me as much as my engine to start it at -30 degress C.

    I use to have a more comprehensive article on why to you should switch to 0w-30 but can't find it but this http://www.worldsbestoil.ca/which-30-weight-oil.php from Amsoil pretty much sums it up, and Amsoil is the best there is IMO

    Right tail light was out, replaced it. Did the left one too. The bulbs come two in a package. So I figured, why not?

    Got the fitting and hoses I needed to replace the crappy ones I was using and finish this...

    ...and if you don't have one of those do yourself a favor and get one installed. It is really simple and you'll prevent all this crap from blowing back into your intake. This is how much oil was in there after about a week and a half.
