ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Looked great for about 6 months, than the lens started to yellow on the inside. Still looks good from more than 5 feet, but I guess I did not seal them enough?

Has anyone removed black krylon fusion from their BHLM? I'm thinking I should have left the little bit of chrome around the parking lights. I'd like to remove the black and hopefully have shiny chrome left underneath.

Just finished mine. I tinted the orange reflector and also spray tinted my dtrl/turn signal bulbs with nightshades to give a dark reflection. I think it turned out pretty good, but I haven't water tested them yet.

I'm pretty happy with the results. Nothing but compliments from others. But stupid me, I got a single finger print on the inside of the lens and (ofcourse) didn't notice it until after it was put back together. I didn't use any other type of resealing glue. Just reheated and squeezed it back together. We had a day of torrential down pour here on the coast and I haven't had any condensation on the inside.

I took this pic before I polished up the lens. I could take a more current one if anybody is absolutely dying to see it, but you get the idea.

On a 05-11 Tacoma what was the procedure for putting the headlight back together? I had to touch it up a few times because when I made the painted piece fit back into the lens it would chip some of the paint. I have a few, noticeable to me, chips cause I got frustrated and had to go to work but if anyone has some tips to getting it to go back wih out chipping that woul be awesome. Other then that for my first time it looks great

After my retro and BHLM they fog up some after about an hour drive. Driver side more than the passenger which doesn't matter. They both need to be resealed again! I just hate sealing them....

Any pointers on how y'all are having such success doing this?

Mine turned out great. I had the best water test when tropical storm Debbie came the same weekend I did them & then sat on top of us for 3 days. We got about 12" of rain & no leaks or condensation.

Anyone live in NC near Goldsboro that would like to help with this? 33000 dollar truck and an inexperienced person (myself), needs a hand.

    I'd consider them a success...

..besides the fogging in both headlights and I didn't clean the insides of the lenses so they have some dirt smudges.

I voted that I screwed it up, but on one of the inside pieces there was some stuff that got stuck to the paint as it was drying. I havent had any fogging or anything like that. I didnt clean as much of the old stuff out as was directed but still no fogging.

Did mine and I voted perfect.......def didnt screm them up but on the top of the bezel you can just see some chrome where I caught the bezel putting it back in the lens. Really need to get close to see it and my eyelids will cover it anyway. My truck is an 08 so my lights lens kinda are beat to shit anyway....rock chips, slight hazing, etc.....I might do the mothers resto thing but they look good as hell as is. I def wont be worried about cracking open a new pair of lights if I wanna get some perfect ones.

A sidenote.....I didnt remove any of the OEM sealer.....I pushed it back in the groove and reused it......I chose to go and get some flowable silicone from the auto store. Stuff is made for this application.....flows in cracks and is clear. No fogging or leaking as of yet. THat window weld kit is 25 bux and overkill IMO.....not saying it wont work.....just saying the stuff in there works too. Saves time by not cleaning it out. Also if you want they sell auto sealer adhesive....same stuff in the groove already.....6bux a tube. Total investment on my part was 10 bux for 1 can of paint and 1 tube of silicone. Silicone took 5 min each light...... 1 hour to cure enought to put back on truck and admire.:)

I'm on that route. It looks cool, but it's WAY too much time and effort for a strictly visual mod
