    This is not a problem with Toyota, Its for emissions. My both my dads 2004 GMC 5speed and his 99 5speed Blazer do the same throttle hang like my tacoma does, the blazer is actually worse since the IAC valve is a lot slower than the fly by wire throttle body. So unless you have programing software don't expect it to change.

    No, extra grounds aren't needed. It would function just fine without it but electrons and ions travels at different speed through different conductive material (ie silver, copper, iron, etc) due to resistance. That's why I said think of it as a 5 lane highway instead of 1 lane. The more paths, the faster electricity loops in the vehicle therefore more efficient.

    From what I remember, Toyota mentions something about octane rating (87) and another for research octane rating (91). Difference of maybe 5hp/tq between the two octanes. Possibly due to the ecu to adjust timing due to less pinging/knocking.
