Tacoma Mods: How Much Have You Spent?

Off the top of my head I think I've spent roughly $700. But that's not counting my tires since I sold my factory wheels/tires that was pretty much a wash and since my tires were still good anyway.

Got $330 in my wheels.
About $200 in my tonneau. (used)
$46 for my vent visors.
$46 for my Ultra-gauge thanks to the GB.
$50 for eyelids & paint.
$14 cables for Ipod.
$7 for a can of Plasti Derp.
$6 for UGA drink coasters.

 

Im over $7,500 in my 07 taco and she is still going strong with 160,000k miles.

 

Spent abot $1500 on my old tacoma and about $100 on the new one I got a couple months back

 

just dropped another $3,200 for fully assembled front and rear air locking diffs with 4.56's, add that to the $3,500 on suspension and around $2,000 for wheels and tires and close to $1,000 for misc crap

I've got $1000 in sound system. the rest of the stuff (brush guard, fogs, tool box, and westin step bars) my mom bought. oh and $70 for window visors.

dealership charged me an arm and leg for install but live and learn i guess

 

just spent over 3k on allpro expedition rear leaf kit, apex front bumper, apex rear bumper, allpro's high clearance reciever and camburg 4'' lift spindles. Im supper stoked to get the bumpers to line-x and then have the lift installed! Then gonna need new tires and wheels... lol More money! Im addicted and still live at home.

 

I hear ya got charged $200 for a pop and lock installed. Lesson learned.

 

So far $2k and I haven't even made the first payment...I should definitely consider renting out a room in my house for mod money, hmm...

 

Definitely in the $2-6000 mod range, and I'm just started... Yet I have gotten over $1000 in mods comped and some others discounted well below retail, which is killer because the MOD bug is horrible with me. Pretty sure I have put off buying a tacoma because there is no end to modifying.

 

400 for the TRD cold air intake
95 for the bilstien 5100s
some fun mod's and a 15 dollar muffler

 

I thought about selling other toys to go to town on the taco... had it 4 months, paid half off already, and have a good mod list growing

Not quite...if i had put all my mod money toward payments...would be damn close, but then again...it would still be stock....
