I work at the factory on the assembly line and have not heard any of these RUMORS. I think we assembly line workers would know, because you would have to add more equipment for these changes to occur. Guess the OP and some sales guys have the inside skewp. Guess I can look forward to learning to install some new parts in 2013-2014. Oh by the way, I did hear that the 3rd gen Tacomas would come standard with a larger Flux Capacitor. That's really all I can say without getting in trouble.

There are zero places to off road within a 6 hour radius of me. Should I have bought an OR instead of a sport? For me, buying an OR would be "f**king stupid". Would it make more sense to pay extra for OR stuff that I will never ever use, or for color matched everything and a better looking truck in general?

Ok. Please explain why I should have bought an OR. Keep in mind that my truck will never see any off road action. Fire away..

My salesman told me the Tundra is getting a complete makeover for 13 but the tacomas will be 2 more years before any changes will be made

Im interested to see what the price will be on the "limited edition" tacoma for 2013. Ill throw a guess of around 38-40 with Entune.

    Too few to list.
Most likely, I bet the tacoma will stay with the 4.0 and probably be the dual vvt-i to bump up mpg numbers as in the future, it's all about mpg numbers.

    Tacoma Hybrid!
