The Armory isn't bad, I bought my Springfield M1A from them, but their prices are not all that great. If you are wanting to buy a Glock, and I highly reccomend them, you can get them for LEO pricing. This is just under $400, includes three magazines and the box. Read Below:

AUTHORIZED LEO/BLUE LABELED PISTOL CUSTOMER LIST and prices...(Same as Glock Smyrna's prices)

We had this posted before, but for the sake of newer members, I hope it is appropriate to re-post. The way it works is that Blue label pistols are designated for sale only to those qualified for the LE/Military discount program. There are a variety of other folks that qualifiy as well, as the list below indicates. If you are eligible, you can call Glock in Smyrna, Ga.(770)432-1202, and order a pistol from them, and arrange a FFL local to you to receive and transfer the pistol. Right now I believe it's an 8-12 week* turn around from Glock. Or you can ask for a Blue Label dealer in your area and they will tell you who in your area is able to sell to you. Dealers are all different...some will ship to your local FFL...some will require you to come to them...You have to work out all of the details with whomever you are purchasing from. i.e., ID/proof of eligibility, DL, etc. At any rate, there is a substantial savings involved. The basic 9mm's, .40's , .357 sigs are as low as $398.20 w/3 mags. It goes up from there...The following is a fairly comprehensive eligibility list...

*All sworn Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) State, County and City
*All Federal Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) FBI, US Marshals, DEA etc
*All Retired LEO with "retired" credentials including Federal, State, County & City
*State Licensed Securtiy Companies (ie. Loomis Fargo, RAM, Securitas, etc)
    *State/City licensed Security officers
    *Active Military personnel-all branches
    *National Guard personnel-all branches
    *Military Reserve personnel-all branches
*Legitimately retired military veterans with "retired" military ID
    *All TSA employees
    *Licensed Para-Medics and EMT's
*Fire Fighters (including volunteers) with appropriate ID
*Commercial Pilot license holders & Federal Flight Deck Officers
    *Court Judges
*District Attorneys and Deputy District Attorneys

I believe the closest Blue label dealer is in Richmond, I had a couple of guys drive up there from my office to buy their guns. If you do go this route, do yourself a favor and just buy the base model. Any sights or aftermarket accessories that you want can be bought for cheaper elsewhere. Installation can be done by me if you would like. Hope this helps.
Not to open up a whole other discussion, but are you married to the idea of .40? 9mm works just fine for eliminating threats and is a helluva lot cheaper to train with as well.

Man I got pulled over on Ft Eustis Blvd last night on my way home from work. He said I was doing 60 in a 45 but I swear when he got me with radar I was still in a 55. The guy was a dickhead.

Anyone ever gotten a ticket in NN and had to listen to the BS 15 min recording to figure out how much you owe? I'm going to court in Sept to argue it.

Never had to listen to a recording, but driven all over the country and only had tickets here in NN  Probably like 7 in my life...all here. I drive slow as a mug now.

You has oversized tiars wif speedo off? Get calibrated and take to court...

Haha I guess maybe you have all the fines memorized then after 7 tickets :) They make you listen to a recording now if you want to know how much. I've gotten pulled over in MD, NJ, MA, SC and CA and I've never had to listen to a damn recording. I'm trying to drive slower now (less than 15 over).

The speedo is actually pretty close but that's definitely an option.
