Shoot me a PM with how you did it without it breaking... Lisa may get a bottle of the wine this way. And you guys may get a bottle of desert chardonnay since I am guessing your wife enjoys a sweeter wine at times..?

I have some great Pinot Noir's. That is the wine my family is known for. That and gewurztraminer. I actually like the gewurztraminer more because of the dry taste to it.

Cousin's, yes. They don't have a website, but they have other information in places.

That is the best web site I think I can find for information. He is a cousin of mine in the picture... crazy old man for sure. The hours of operation are only the visiting hours. Can call any time.

My parents brought me 14-15 bottles of wine for a wedding/birthday gift when they came through. Gave 2 bottles of Pinot Gris to my neighbor, and a few bottles of desert chardonnay to my in laws. I still have plenty for me and others.

The family that owns the company my wife used to work for, has their own vineyard on their property and are in the works of getting ready to start selling to the public. We're good friends with them and have been out to their property many times for parties and such. I need to see if I can snag a few bottles of their good stuff. In fact, they are having a harvesting party this weekend, but I won't be able to make it.

I wish I would have saved the craigslist add I saw on here a few years ago. A Geo Metro got hit by the Greensburg tornado (whiped out an entire town). They saved it... They gutted the back seats and made it into a bed. The put a piece of ply wood behind the front seats with a plastic window on top. They installed a hitch in the back. They called it the "Geo Camino." They wanted 500 bucks for it...

Have fun in the AC in your office then :). I really hope the standoff ends soon. Think it was caused by Chic-Fil-A yesterday? :stirthepot:

Wow. Makes me think that there had to have been something else that the guy was hiding to react so violently.

Sounds like parts of Oregon and Kansas. You don't really want to go in and raid a meth house. Might blow up like the one on Sons of Anarchy... if you watch it.

Our "rangers" are now called "Park Police" and now carry 9mm sidearms along with bullet resistant vests due to the influx of meth labs in the woods.

We got raided by them in February when we were camping. They hit us in a 3 pronged attack. That shit wouldn't of happened 10 years ago....back then a single unarmed ranger would of approached us.

I'm from Oregon... I see it more and more every time I go home. Salem is one of the worst cities hit lately.

For a while we had the meth capital of the world in Iowa. Marshaltown Iowa was horrible. Things have calmed down some since they made it very difficult to get a hold of pseudo-effedrine. All of the other chemicals are readily available in iowa, including anhydrous amonia since it is used by the farmers.

The state started the mt meth project a few years ago - tv ads, billboards, posters and print ads showing graphic images of the negative effects of meth. They claim its helping to discourage people

That explains why I saw a farmers field/shed by the highway on my drive up with a sign painted on the roof saying "STOP METH" and on the opposite roof slope "Not Even Once". I approached from the "not even once" side, made no sense till i saw the other half of the roof in my rear view.
