Hey guys, let's get another meet going! I'm thinking September so we have more of a heads up and people can get time off of work. I'm always down to just get a couple people and doing something small too if any of you guys want to.

It'll probably be a Friday or Saturday. Any recommendations on what trail we should hit up? 5-Mile and Rattlesnake were pretty fun. Farmington was pretty mellow but lots of fun too. I heard the snow that blocked us last time has melted now so that would be cool. Some people hit up AF last time and although I missed that meet I heard it was pretty sweet. We also had some suggestions of hitting up Kennecott.

    Let's get this set up!

    Update:
    Date: Saturday, September 22, 2012
Meeting Location: Chevron at the North West corner of 5300 W and Timpanogos Highway (11000 N) Highland, UT 84003

How long is the drive down and back time-wise?

You definitely need to come! It's been a while!

I think it would be a good idea to set up a meet in Aug and Sept. So that it gives more options for people to plan.
I wanted to hold a trip/gathering up to my cabin (East of Heber) on Aug 24, 25, or 26th but I'm down for whatever. Thoughts?
I am still a newb to the forum so I wanted to get to know some of you in my area.

It can be as difficult as you want to make it. Near the bottom of the canyon is a large quarry with lots of areas to play on with difficult lines if you want to play hard. If not there are easy tracks. The main trail up the canyon has some small rock gardens but shouldn't be too bad. Best comparison I can think of would be Mineral Basin in AF canyon.
