Demello off road bolt on sliders for 2nd gen access cab or DCSB truck. bought them for my DCLB but they do not cover enough of the bed area. I have all the grade 8 hardware to install. Painted black. good shape with some scratches that can be see in pics. Asking 400 OBO. Located in stamford CT 06902. I could ship but they are large and heavy. looking for a local cash sale.

    Any photos of them installed?

Do you have to drill the frame to install these?

Any bolt on sliders (real sliders that you can use to jack up your rig) require you to add additional holes to your frame.

Thanks, I just read that on the Demello web site, but you can put these on without drilling too...just wont be as strong.

I do not have any pics of them on the truck. Never made it that far. Once I realized how much of the truck would still be exposed when I held them up to the truck, I decided to sell them instead of mounting them.

Bolting with the existing holes only, will allow you to use them for step bars and looks.....no serious offroading though

If you were to drop down onto a rock/log you could damage the sliders, cab, and possibly even the frame

Highly recommended to drill additional holes
It's a scary thought to drill into your frame
That's where weld ons are the best way to go......but can't be easily removed :(

Not what I wanted to hear.....I'm looking for some serious protection

Can you at least hold them upto the truck and snap a pic, so we can see what you mean by your above statement ?.?

only reason OP said that it didnt cover enough, is because these sliders are for a double cab short bed. he has a double cab long bed.

OP said he has a DCLB so the sliders would probably fit better on a DCSB. I'm guessing since you have an off road yours is a DCSB.

EDIT: ryan beat me to it.

I still have them. Been busy with work. Haven't been on much since I posted them on here. They are a foot too short due to the bed length. I could meet some where. Where are you coming from?
