you need a whip (as already stated)
you need a 7 day pass for every street legal vehicle.
non street legal vehicles need a dune permit
if your riding anything thats not street legal and not registered in AZ as an OHV (quad, dirtbike, rail, golf cart anything) you MUST have a DUNE STICKER
2wd for getting stuck id try to bring like 2 2x6 feet pieces of carpet, it can save your ass in the dunes. high lifts are always nice

FYI, they have vendor row, and im sure some will be open on the off weekend so there is a place to get supplies out there

COPS out there are DICKS! make sure your tail lights work.

DO NOT BRING GLASS BOTTLES. if they cruise by your camp and see them, your camp will be searched. sucks ass

Not true for people from AZ. If you live in a different state and the vehicle (or quad, bike, etc) is registered in your home state as an off road vehicle with current registration you do not need a Claifornia Green sticker or dune permit. Since 2008 AZ requires ALL off road vehicles have to be still be registered with an off road plate. So as long as you register your vehicles like your supposed to you do not need anything else

    From Glamisonline.org:
"If your vehicle is legally registered (for on road use or off road use) in your home state, or country, it does not need to be re-registered in California. However, if your vehicle is not registered in your home state, or country, California requires you to register it here. Some states do not require off road vehicles to be registered. Those vehicles need to be registered in California. Out of state vehicles can be registered simply with the out of state registration sticker purchased at some cycle shops and other stores. "

They dont really make it very clear and you have to search to find that. Im sure they dont mind when you pay for a green sticker you dont need

it took me a while to find out what i needed for my truck. i called like 3 different places all with the BLM and i got different answers, finally got to a manager that helped me straighten it out. and he told me exactly what you said.
