Is your CA plate still valid? Or wait. Did you end up registering it in Cali recently or did you let it expire? And isn't your CA ID still valid or does that hole make it invalid? What if you came here to visit for the summer and needed to drive?

 

The hole in the card makes it unusable. They did that to my old OR ID when I got a new one

 

Aren't you a student? If so you could have have check your plates and ID for Cali. I was there for 5+ years and never had a problem

Anyone know of any mile markers in the area and that doesn't have a lot of traffic? I still need to calibrate my Ultra Gauge, but the only mile markers that I know of where I can actually get out of my truck and line up the wheel to the mile marker is in Mountain House/Livermore
