Yup. Got it for $99. That's why I had someone else bend my tubing for my sliders.

I was going to buy the JD2 but but the price of the die killed that. Guy locally had one for sale with all the dies with it that they make for $3500.

I just don't really see any benefits to a PreRunner over a 4x4 :notsure: I got my truck from my uncle because it was affordable and I knew how it was maintained. I don't see the point in getting a new truck or even one with less than 250k miles on it for hardcore off-roading. I would never trash a vehicle unless it was meant to be a beater. As for getting the 4x4 over the PreRunner, for the times that I do go off road, it is helpful to have. I worked all summer at a boy scout summer camp and very rarely was I on a paved road. When we had rain, everything turned to mud, and a 4x4 would have helped get from point A to point B. Not that my PreRunner didn't do it, there were only a couple of slightly nerve wrecking situations. And I wouldn't have been in those situations if I had a 4x4.

like i said to each its own. im barely ever on a non paved road and thats why pre-runner works great for me. When i go offroading, i do a lot better than the regular pre-runners because of my AT tires and my locker. I dont want any thing more than that especially when i baby my truck so much.

Hey guys, I will be selling my set of wheels and tires very soon, and want to let you know since I only want local pick up. The two pictures posted are when I first bought them, and I will post new pics later today. Wheels are Moto Metal 951, 17x9 and tires are Yokohama Geolander M/T 35s x 12.5, and is being 35K on them, excellent set but now i'm looking for black wheels with Nittos. Sell price $999, and of course, I paid lot more than that. Send me a PM if anyone is interested, and thanks for looking....

yeah because if you can find 2 or 3 people who are interested in buying something from you and if you can collect some advance, from that money you can buy the tube bender and the supplies you need. Yes i know everyone told you not to go crazy with opeing a shop yet and all that but taking few orders here and there from TW and other friends will start giving you some kind of change in your procket which you can invest towards buying more nessary supplies. When you do get your shop then you will have most of the stuff you need to start with.

JD2 bender is $300 + Die $300-$400 + shipping. Then there's the hydraulic option with the ram from harbor freight. Bending 1.75 .120 wall tubing isn't something you want to do all day with a manual bender.

I'm the same way. I'd love to start fabbing stuff over here since there isn't anyone that does it but, I would want to already have the stuff on hand too before doing anything for anyone. I've always been one to stick to my build time for something and don't want to be delayed cause something didn't ship when it should have. I think you could do pretty good in my area for sliders and bumpers.
