The police in our city have been walking in my area checking cars and trucks for open doors.they leave a note on the windshield saying that your vehicle was easy or hard to get into.I had only went to the store, when I got back the note was on my ex's car.Lucky hers was locked. It was an eye opener.

If anyone wants to make a kill switch / starter interrupt for their truck, this is how. It requires:
    (1) 40amp 5-pin automotive relay
    (1) 1 amp diode
    (1) 10 amp fuse
Misc wire connectors, electrical tape, crimp tool, and general mechanical/electrical knowledge

This diagram show how to do this WITH an aftermarket remote start system installed. This way your RS will still work, even with the kill switch in the off position. If you dont have a RS system, just remove the "blue" wire from pin "86" on the relay that is labeled for "blu/white remote start status wire."

The "switch" can be ANYTHING! you could make this something as simple as a standard toggle on/off switch or something complicated and unique. Get creative. instead of a "switch" connect the red wire to the (+) 12v wire on pretty much anything that puts out 12v when turned on. This could be an oem fog light switch (assuming you dont have the switch in the "on" position at all times, or any other factory oem switch. It could go to the brake or accelerator pedal so that the car will not start until whichever pedal is depressed... AC switch so fan must be in a certain speed position before car will start, or anything like this.. your highbeam wire, horn wire, etc etc. A simple way that is not tacky and is also easy to use and impossible to forget to engage would be a momentary switch, such as the tiny black valet button that comes with aftermarket alarms or can be purchased at radio shack or online. This is small and discrete. It should be installed in a position so that the left hand can easily hold this button down while the right hand turns the ignition, such as on the lover left side of driver seat by lumbar support.

Whatever you decide, it needs to be something that can be engaged quickly and easily without and extra bending or turning or stretching otherwise 2 things will happen: first, you will eventually become very annoyed and tear the thing out, or 2, the thief that is watching you and learning your routine and schedule before he jacks your truck will notice you do the same thing each time you get in, and catch on to what your doing.

REMEMBER, the ONLY way for this to be affective is to not tell ANYONE about your new mod!! Even close friends and family. It only takes 1 person to tell someone they "trust" and then its all worthless.

So anyways, without further ado, here is your crash course how-to. Enjoy :D :

I think you might want to follow your own advice.
You just broadcasted to the whole world about your kill switch......

I actually don't have one to be honest. Just my alarm. I just posted this because I was bored and thought it might help someone. And if I did have one, like shown in the directions, the possibilities of how to hide/secure/integrate it are endless so people still wouldn't know how I made mine, which is what's important.

The concept is not to hide an EXTRA switch.
It's to use an inconspicuous existing switch that no one would think to use.
Preferably hitting said switch would trigger a relay that would allow the starter to momentarily fire.

This is correct, except this method doesn't does not trigger the starter at all. It simply acts like a switch to disrupt the starter wire. When your secret switch in not on, then the key will power the truck ignition but interrupt the signal to the starter. The switch only reconnects the starter wire temporarily during cranking, then disconnects it again right after. The switch/relay setup doesn't actually apply voltage to crank your starter.
