    Anyone in the bryan/chatham county or surrounding areas, there is a car/truck meet every Saturday night around 9 oclock in savannah. Mainly tuners but truck guys come too, bikes also. Usually goes down at the Piggly Wiggly in Georgetown right off of 204/Abercorn

    Wait till the fall. Otherwise during the summer middle of the lake on deep humps around 25feet down. Summer bass fishing is very tough, that is why I fish in the spring & fall. Rarely fish in the summer.

    Best plastic colors for Lanier: Watermelon seed, sand, sometimes green pumpkin. I use these jigs for all my plastics. http://www.jpjigs.com/DockSlingers.php I know the guy that makes these. He makes them all himself in his garage. No mass produced crap out of China. He will even custom make things for you. He makes stuff for lots of pros.

    Topwater in the mornings at sunrise, or if you see any splashes. Small topwater baits are best.

    Also a white (pearl) fluke tied carolina style with a barrel swivel & no weight. If weight is needed then a split shot just above the swivel. This is good for fishing around docks & downed trees, stumps, underwater grass. I like the regular flukes & not the super flukes.

    spotted this guy over the weekend on I-95 north bound outside of Richmond Hill, with McIntosh county tags, we ran bout 100 mph for 3 or 4 miles, till he blew past me...totally forgot 2nd gens have the 4.0 or i wouldnt have tried, sexy truck though
