    I'm looking to get a chrome surround to match the chrome bumper I installed..
    I see on Edmunds site the chrome grill insert is the same color gray as my painted grill surround.Yet on the '05-'08 chrome surround,the grill insert is blackish.
    The chrome surround part# is also different on the '09s versus the '05-'08 part#.
    What color is your grill insert on your '09 TRD off Road?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    all 09's have the grey painted bars instead of the black on the 05-08's. to me, the black looks better since the grey matches absolutely nothing. if they wanted to dress it up, paint it the same color as the actual vehicle...or just leav it blck like it was

    the grey in my grille is darker than all of the silver streak i've seen. might match the MGM, but definatly not SSM

    Thanks for the pic.Truck looks great.
    I have the painted with the gray insert now.
    I like the contrast better with the gray than the black with the silver mica.
    I also like that the gray has a shine to it.:)
