u can get a lil air flow going over the engine, but thats about it. too much hood support going across there to really amount to anything

so my next question is, would it be worth the trouble to find a new hood with a scoop on it or just get one of those scoops you can glue like the ones from Ebay? I don't see those staying on there really well

you could get a lot of air flow with a pick axe.

I have heard rumors that c2c(i think) was working on something to modify the scoop. I'd hold off for a little while and see what they come up with.

i definately wouldnt go w/ anything stick on. if u wanna go that route, i'd say get a fiberglass one and have it molded in...or just buy an aftermarket one and have it painted w/ the stock scoop already on it

Whenever I hear stick on accessories, I immediately think of those stick on vents that people put on the side of their cars, by the hood. I hate those things so much. Just to spite them, I pee into the vents to flood their cars.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to leave my hood the way it is without the scoop since it doesn't really do anything.

I was thinking about doing the same thing but knowing the dealer they probably want to charge you an arm and a leg for a hood with a scoop.

I have the sport w/ scoop and I would have rather gone without it. Looks kinda cool but to a 69 goat lover scoops mean RAM AIR.
