still would be lacking the much needed up travel for whoops. great for the rocks on the trail with the improved articulation.

 

i just need something better for the rear....it was bucking like crazy in pismo...1500s with toytec aal....wanted to lt the front...but idk now

 

Absolute worst thing for an engine's cooling system is for it to rapidly leak out coolant.

Second worst is for it to boil that coolant.

Now, if you boiled over and all the coolant ran out of the overflow tank, expect the engine to be low on coolant when it cools off. Right thing to do is to let the thing cool down completely, hose out the radiator fins, refill with coolant.

I think that if you didn't actually lose the coolant your engine still has a chance.

We got a Jeep Cherokee up to 260F on the temp gauge and it survived. All iron engine, so that helps, but a straight six is still pretty vulnerable to overheating because of the long head. More likely to warp that way. I wasn't there, I was helping a family member deal with the situation by phone, so I don't know if they actually boiled the coolant or not, but it had to be close.

Let it cool off, then top off the coolant. Don't freak out just yet.
