Never thought of this. As an added benefit your headlight lenses may also be less prone to yellowing.

No one does. I know I don't but I don't take two spaces because of it. And I sure as shit wouldn't park next to a cart return like that either-that's just asking for it.

I am more worried about finding a curb parking spot to squeeze as far away as possible from the door dingers that hunt the lots......

Old transmission guy at work once told me this, don't know if it hold any truth to it at all, but I know the guy is legend at work, but he said for your slanted driveway, back in, engage ebrake fully then put into park. Been doing it ever since.

Generally back in (or pull straight through if available). Much easier to back in than pull in. Plus I'm used to it since we're required to back in/pull through at work. We have this whole "first move forward policy".

I have always done this. I put the trans in neutral, engage the parking brake, left off the foot brake, then put the trans in park.

It actually is good practice to also do a similar procedure when shifting into Reverse or Drive from any gear. For example, I will back down my driveway, come to a stop, put the trans in neutral, let off the foot brake, let the truck roll a couple inches, then put the trans in drive and be on my way.

If you do this, you'll notice that the truck doesn't lurch or jump as much when shifting into reverse or drive.

If it is a tight parking lot ( minimal space to maneuver), I'll back in. It just seems easier that way and if it's crowded I'll back in. If it's not crowded or a bigger area I'll usually just park front first.

I park by putting the truck perpendicular in as many spots as i can, putting it in park, and leaving it.

My sister likes to hide and jump in front of back up cameras as soon as people put it in reverse, scaring the poopers out of the driver.
