    My current position is Director of HR/Controller. I was the Assistant General Manager before this position and took this to move my way up to the GM. I’m actually being trained for a GM now and will be one within the next 6 months.

    Yeah its easy to get a GM's position but you have to know what hotel to get and what not to get. You don’t want to accept an offer on a shitty hotel and then baby sit and FAIL. I work for a well-known company in the hotel industry that manages hotels. So basically people who have hotels and really don’t know how to run them or not making money, hire us and we run it for them. My company manages about 82 hotels all over US right now so i move to different hotels a lot, staying with the same company. Wherever they need you the most, they will put you but the best part is that every time they move you, they will match your current pay or increase it but you ill never get a pay cut as long as you keep the employment. So basically i am the controller right now on an AGM's pay

    I did, twice. Colleges on that side of the world look at act more often than sat. I'm gonna take the act again. My sat scores weren't that great and was the same both times. I preferred the act too.
