    Ball joint recall was done on my truck about a year and a half ago. I guess since there was still two bolts in, I didn't noticed anything (including the steering) acting funny. I'm rather surprised the remaining two didn't snap under the stress from the rough trail.

    Yeah, no kidding! I just ordered 10 of these bolts. NOT going to happen to me again! haha

    I checked mine earlier.

    They, like almost every other bolt under there, are pretty much seized shut.

    First off, i drove the absolute piss out of it this weekend. Drove down to Pismo with the family and towed the taco down. I noticed the axle housing is now smiling at me. It's in the shape of a U instead of strait. Oh well...kept running it the rest of the weekend. I had a trailer to tow it back with.
    Loaded it on the trailer, towed it home, pulled it off the trailer without issues. Drove to the store for shits and giggles and turned a corner and heard a bang. Stopped and looked underneath real quick. Put it in first gear, and well....the video says the rest.
    I drove home on the front two :D
