Good Idea. (Not wanting to make myself a target) The english speaking Canadians are really more British hangers on than true Canucks and We (Proclaiming my US citizenship here) already beat them in the 1700's

Oh really? Here's where you get Cubans cigars, grandma's meds, and enjoy Quebec nudy bars. There a moose on duty?

Actaully we're the ones 'supposely' cracking down on the border, yep now they'll take your ride! if your caught...

Well actually, the cuban cigars are not illegal, we are on good terms with the cubans. The online ordering of meds is also not illegal as you still need a prescription and the nudy bars? Well the are not illegal either, I don't get your claim, how exactly does this make our border unsecure?

And yes, I love the border argument, again blame Canada for your own border guards letting unwanted ppl in to your country, including cubans and mexicans, it not cuba's fault...

Think you misread, I know, we go over to get stuff we can't get here.

Actually if you look hard you can see an obs post in the trees on the canadian side... none on the US side. Sign of the times. My uncle and his buddies have great stories of sledding over the border back in the day to the nudy bars and getting in fights with the Quebecous. They ended up in jail at least once. Funny shit. While still open (and great for skiing if you dont get
harrassed) the border has much more obs equipment and has much tougher rules after 9/11. Now passports, wtf.

Thanks Demon, that explains it....This summer I was in a boobie bar in Montreal and there was this 85 year old broad jacked up on Beta-blockers pulled up to the stage smoking a Cohiba....I suspected she was American but couldn't say for sure.

Its a well known fact that all illegal mexican and cuban immigrants originate in Canada. its all totally your fault. Stupid Canuks, screwing up our border....

I'm sure canadians have to have passports for America but do we need passports to get over there? I was under the impression the borders were still open one way

It is a shame the border is becoming harfer to pass, though we still cross the border for drunken stints into washington and montana, good times and nobody is none the wiser.

Once upon a time I was an LEO. There is no harm to unlawfull presence of our Canada friends.
    We cut them a break.
One friend that did not have a visa used our education system. He moved freely across the border. But he took a job in Houston, not Calgary. So we got our investment back.
I should have reported him. But the INS did not care about Canadas. They do not commit crimes.
