    my electrical supplier carries paladin tools, gonna order the pro kit and a couple other things tomorrow.

    It actually consumed so much power on start-up, Fort McMurray had a grid black out for 3 minutes.

    the home audio system I'm doing at a cabin uses cat5e for the controllers, so I will need the tools fairly soon. watched a couple youtube vids on how to make cat5/cat6 patch cables, doesn't look too complicated.

    I'd look into one of these ^^^ for your new house. has the capability to play from 6 sources in 8 zones.

    no it really isn't hard, just need to get the order right. I'm going to run 2 cat6 and 2 rg6 to every room.

    ya, I was quoted $4500 for a grand concerto package (receiver and 6 - 2.7" oled controllers). the accessories (ipod dock, sat radio tuner, wireless remote) add up quick too.
