Crom, I can help with questions, I work for BajaRack and I people pm me or post it will alleviate calls to the office. If anyone is thinking about it this is a great deal and I'm sure this is the best price you'll see for this rack. Light tabs are $15. each and are welded on at the time of manufacture. Cris

Which Bajarack do you have on your (Tacovendor) truck?? That is the one I want - and I want to mount it directly to the canopy like yours looks like it is. I have a height issue in the garage and really want to add a rack to my build.

Any help is appreciated and this group buy is GREAT news!!

    Thanks!!!!!!

Do you have the tracks on your shell already? If not you will have to install them, we should be able to order them for you, as for my rack it is a 4Runner rack that has custom mounts, and as I said before the ARE shell has factory installed tracks. My suggestion would be a flat rack.

I updated the OP so people can PM Tacovendor for applicaion specific questions that aren't already answered.

Here is the Bajarack with no sides, it's known as "The utility rack." I obtained permission from PTO to upload and post his pictures in this thread.

If you have any questions about the rack PTO should be able to answer them, although he is traveling away from home at the moment...

I like that one. One more thing, on the web site it says the weight limit is 200 lbs. Here it says 300???

    To All Thread followers...

I just spoke to Serge ( I think that's how you say/spell it) at BajaRack. He is keeping a list of all the orders involved with this group buy. If and When you are ready to order call into BajaRack to place your order and get on the list. This should make it easier for the TW members to be sure they are on the list and we/you will not need to keep tack of anyone but yourself. Good Luck!

I would have expected it to be cheaper than the full rack given that there is less material used and the design is simpler.

The Bajarack installation manual (PDF file, online) for the bolt on rack is where the 300 lb. limit was obtained from. I think the website needs to be updated.

I will get clarification. Most of the load limits are static and have to be no more than Toyota recommends. Stand by for the answer.

I'm going to put my order in today.
