    Yeah.
Sorry to beat this dead horse, but has anyone been up to Wheeler Geologic Area (not Wheeler Lake)? Can my stock TRD OR make it? I only have 5 full days out there and will be farther back in the boonies past Creede for most of it, don't want to waste a day trying to get up there if I need a lift to make it.

Not sure why I am so cautious, I've driven a '65 Mustang and a rented Dodge Dynasty through some pretty rough stuff 20+ years ago, and my dad tells a story of some guys he ran into in an old Ford Pinto. Whether it's wisdom with age or just plain chicken, I'm not sure yet. Those weren't my cars, so maybe that was part of it.

    Yeah.
Yeah, I figured, but thought I would ask -- that area is pretty remote, which is why I love it.

I will ask around locally, but it's probably easy enough scored at a 3 out of 10. There's a good MTB downhill run starting up there, maybe get a local to shuttle us and return the favor.

Staying far left is the only way to make that section, also I am pretty sure if your wheel base is too long those rocks with make your life hell, no matter what.

Every time I have done it (three times) I have never been stuck, but also every time I have gone with a 4runner, they got stuck. That far right line is not going to be easy if it is super dry.

Are you ruling out sawtooth I guess? I was thinking about seeing if he could just cut the legs at an angle like bamf does. I think it would be easier that way anyway.

Oh yeah for sure the left is the way to go but from the pics it looks like the right side has been really opened up now. Having done it twice now the left side is the only way I will attempt.
