    As a daily driver, I couldn't agree more. As a dedicated trail rig, an old Wrangler would be fun to beat the shit out of. The older Jeeps seem to be a lot tougher than the new ones.

    But you have to expect to work on the Jeeps. Reliability has to be taken into account.

    Tried it again and it doesnt work now. It was a fully caged and built pickup for 5500

    FYI if i would get a jeep stay far away from the XJ's. I have a few friends who have them and belive me they literally go through one a year and swap the parts over:eek: Two of my friends on a single trail ride the only 2 xjs in the group fatally wounded their jeep. Jon scrapped his on the ride home from gretchans and billy bought a 4th to put the old lift ect on. My friend pat has had 3 all of which went to the scrapyard. Sean has 3 of them and is looking for a 4th. They are dirt cheap for a reason!
