also pick up some glow plugs as well

STAY AWAY from the TraxSUX Nitro fuel, I recently switched to Byrons and highly recommend it

Also be sure to inspect the drive belts as them may have hardened and cracked over the years

Yea, it's an older FM system. Everything works fine, though. It has some sort of trainer thing on it where you can connect it to a more experienced persons controller so they can take control if things get hairy.

It's actually my cousin's plane. He moved off to Texas A&M. At the time he got the plane he was actually just a couple lessons away from a real pilot's license.

He won't be back in till thanksgiving. And considering how fragile these wooden planes are I'll probably just to taxi it around until he gets back.

If I get an 1/8th scale nitro buggy, instead of a truggy am I saving money? (it appears that way) If I wanna go this route which buggies should I be looking at? I've already got a radio system that I like, and everything else for nitro except for a starter.

the only thing that is cheaper is Buggy tires, but some people claim that Truggy Tires last longer than Buggy tires.

The D8 and D8T are two relatively inexpensive platforms out there

Hmmm... I'm almost thinking about just getting a cheaper 1/5th scale. One of the hpi 5b knockoffs.... Being able to run on 2 stroke gasoline would be so much more convenient.

    John Holmes is a stud.

First TorqueMaster Pro came with no leads on it even though I paid extra for them. John apologized and overnighted me a whole 'nother motor that he soldered the leads on himself. I sent him the other one back yesterday.

    Great customer service!

Can't wait to get this bad boy and my BR-XL installed. Just wish I wasn't busy the next two weekends!
