Its been soaked in sweat/moisture countless times, has been dropped on concrete by the wife, which smashed the screen (I replaced it), has been out in the duck marsh with me a dozen times, has been left in the truck in 100 degree heat several times...i dunno. Yes, it's slow now, and sometimes doesn't recognize my SIM card, but I've been pretty rough on it and it's functioned for about 3.5 years now. I don't see myself going to any other phone. I am vested in the iPhone because I love music and I enjoy podcasts. Heck, my headunit in the Taco doesn't even have a CD player - it's a media receiver hooked up to an iPod.

I'll never own a Mac though.

I love Apple and i know that they are expensive but they take care of you, They look amazing and they run great. Yah you can get something so much better but are you getting amazing customer service? A virus free computer for life? Do you have a laptop that looks amazing like the macbook air, That thing is amazing! Nobody else is doing things that apple is.

A computer is only as virus free as you make it. With a little research and knowledge you can fix anything yourself and not have the need to deal with any customer service.

So yes, I'll take something "so much better", "cheaper", far more compatible with everything, and also looks amazing that apple isn't even close to doing :

When it comes out, every apple geek will want one, then want the upgraded Iphone 5 that comes out a couple months later with features that they could have easily put on the Iphone 4, but waited to make more money.

There marketing technique is obvious, yet a lot of people don't even realize it. Apple likes to juice their products for every last penny.

Now if you want the Iphone 5, sure go get one. I would want one too, but my 3GS will probably get used until its tech is as old as a Motorola Razor.
Personally if I was going to get an Iphone 5, I would wait for the upgraded version and get it.

I like the triple display. What kind of stand is that?

So I quickly read all 7 pages of bull shit! Funny how all the Apple haters keep talking about how they come out with a new one each week. So they have only been in business for about 5 weeks now? They release a new one once a year. Used to be every July, now it's September. The 4S was a new model. Same case but mostly new internals. And it came out a year later. If they do a 5S it will be a year later!
This is the first time the cable has been updated since it's inception. There will be adapters to convert from the old style to the new. And the new cable will be around for at least a few generations before they change again.
If you don't like Apple and iPhones, fine, get the fuck out of this thread! I have had a iPhone 4 for about 1.5 years now and LOVE it! Eligible for an upgrade on Christmas day! Getting the iPhone 5 or more likely the New iPhone following the New iPad naming scheme.
I get all my info from 9to5mac.com.
However I am a dedicated PC user.

And there is a 7" iPad Mini coming out around the same time!

We're talking about the annual release of the iPhone, not the weekly release of Android phones.

It's the ergotech triple monitor stand. I actually just got it yesterday. Clears up a lot of desk space and has expandability if I ever wanna go 1 over 3, or 2x3.

Wow, first of all it's called exaggeration, but there is a difference between months and a week. And second, are you going to tell me that they don't squeeze all their products dry for money? They charge a butt load of money on Ipods even though they have poor sound quality compared to other mp3/mp4 players.

Also I said it would be smart to wait until an S model comes out so the kinks with the 5 are worked out, if not at least wait for the price to drop from an insane level to a ridiculous one.
I said I own a 3GS, I don't need to upgrade to another overpriced phone to get out my tech addiction, I will just wait for this thing to break. I can buy I $300 Ipod and a $30 sony MP3, guess which has better audio quality. Thats not to say that an itouch isn't cool and doesn't have alot of different features.

Finally, I know that you are excited that the iPhone 5 is longer, but your just going to have to use your current iPhone to pleasure yourself until it comes out. Way to be an ass.

so what happens when the "New IPAD" is last years model and a newer one comes out, what will it be called ? The "Newer IPAD" ? or the "Newest IPAD" ?? They should have thought of a more creative name then that.
