    Wow! Point taken.

These aren't street legal and needs to be towed to the trails, right? Not that I'm looking to buy anything soon but just gathering information for the future. How heavy is something like that and can our engines tow them (safely)?

For any of you motorcycle enthusiasts out there, MOM South is having another demo day event from Friday thru Sunday (August 16 - 18). It's a good time and you get to ride some nice, expensive bikes for free! :D

They arent technically street legal. There is a formula for wheelbase/lift involved. However people in my club are daily driving far bigger trucks.
Driving it to the trail would be more based on if it can get off the trail under its own power.
You could tow them with the proper trailer and a weight distributing hitch. However it would suck lol.

How many TW forum goers? does it take to change a light bulb?
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been
    changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the
light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

1 to move it to the Lighting section

2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section

7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light
    bulbs

5 to flame the spell checkers

    3 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6
to condemn those 6 as stupid

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is
    "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light
    bulb" is perfectly correct

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take
this discussion to a lightbulb forum

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light
bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to
buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this
technique and what brands are faulty

7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the
    corrected URL's

3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to
this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all
headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot
    handle the light bulb controversy

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions
    about light bulbs"

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and
    start it all over again.

all kidding aside I tried some LED bulbs the other day - they have gotten a lot better, but are still damn expensive.

There is a wheel and camp event going on in Maine. I dont know if it is open to others. Usually, you get one run with the club before you have to pay dues. We will be wheeling at all wheels in Maine, you could prob hop in on that. If you signed up on the forum, you wont see a lot of the content.

We could probably tow some of the older pickups and such as long as they dont have too much tube work or heavy things added to them.

I think I am going to go and try out the Victory Cross Country. It has been calling my name for a while. Might trade the SV in for it. Again, more tough decisions.

Is it worth paying the dues (i.e. enough events and such to justify it)? Not that $50 is a lot.

I think so. $50 to have the option to attend around 2 events per month. You also get a t shirt and sticker once you have attended 2 runs. I think John, Denis, and Rob would prob agree. There are at least 3 runs on the schedule for the rest of the year that are good for our trucks. There is also a members choice run which is chosen by the people who are available to go.

Where did you get your LED's from? I just did the swap on my motorcycle from SuperbrightLEDs.com. They're not bad but I paid $25 for the tail light LED cluster.

If you decide to go, let me know when you head over. I've got some work to get done on the house but will try for either later in the day Saturday or Sunday morning. I want another ride on that Vegas 8-Ball (might try the Hammer also).

I like the hammer S. I am to the point in my riding where I want a couch with wheels and a stereo system.

I thought you had one on your back window? Tell Tim you didn't get your free stuff and he will send it or bring it to the next meet.
