Would it be possible to repair the old shocks for use as trail spares? I mean I hate to throw away perfectly good (and fairly new) shocks just becuase the lower mount snapped off..

It was a pretty clean break, so IDK.

End of September should give me plenty of time to get the clutch replaced. It'd be good to meet more of this lively bunch.

Did you plasti-dip your bumper or is that just black paint? Looks good either way. I've been thinking about plasti-dipping mine.

I was lucky .. my bumper is a black one... but plasti-dip is very durable and super easy to use.

That should work out fine. How much offroad time you plan is what will dictate what kind of springs you want to get.
