F/S Used rebuilt Overhead temp displays 05-08

not to highjack this tread, but found a wreck 11 Taco and they'll sell me the whole overhead console. will it work for my 08, or do I have to switch out the temp gauge itself?

 

might be interested if i can't get mine fixed.

i think people were saying that the compass will work, but the temp will just show ---, but if it's cheap enough, I think u should get it anyway, cause there are always people saying "I have a 2009-2011 and bought this 2005-2008 compass and it doesn't work, so it's up for sale"

Adio, it should work fine.
Once switched out you should be able to sell the 09+ display fairly easily since they are in more demand then the 05-08 display's

 

thanks man. ya went ahead and grabbed it from the yard. 50$ out the door. pulled the temp sensor when the the guy wasn't looking and busy taking the console down haha.(I don't condone just taking things but it was in the mangled up front)

got the temp/compass gauge today. switched it out with the garage door slot, plugged it in and bam!! it works. outstanding

 

Do you still have one for sale? Mine gave out for the second time. I think its time to replace it.

Hey I was wondering if I could purchase one of the consoles from you. I soldered mine once then worked for awhile, then just tried to solder again and ruined it I think. When I was attempting to solder again I accidentally took off the metal piece attached to the circuit board, whoops. Maybe I can fix it...have any tips? And if not I would like to get a refurbished one from you. Let me know. Kegcup
