I am not sure yet but I think I am going to try something closer to the original size. I have BFG Mud Terrain T/A 255/75/17 on it now (2 weeks old). Well, they are killing my MPG so I think I am gonna look for something around 265/70/17. Anyone else had a similar problem? I lost about 4-5 mpg.

Funny thing. It brought my odometer closer to a true reading. I had a buddy (LEO) tag me with his laser and it was bang on. I was off about 2 mph before.

ur confusing speedo w/ odo....speedo will line up, but it will make the odo read slow. test that against mile markers on a highway and see what i mean. ur not losing that much MPG

I cant see those tires giving you that much of a MPG drop. I run the same ones and only say about a 1/2 - 1mpg drop over my old 265 all terrains. I can still get 19 out of it on trips, and average around 16 in town. Thats with a CAI, a cat back, and usually a fairly heavy throttle off of stop lights.

So, basically I could put bigger tires on my truck and maybe go 1.5 years until my next birthday, instead of the usual 1? :headbang:

    ;)
