I've posted here before but gonna really try and keep up with this forum and this thread specifically (mostly because I dont have a lot of knowledge to offer with Tacomas). But hopefully we'll see each other on the road sometime.

Couple updated pics of my 4runner

Bumper mostly done (still need to add tire carrier, weld on the cross beam from the 1/4 panel to the frame, plate it in between tubes, and a few more small things)

So, I thought I would post up a couple pictures of the grill job my friend and I did for his 89 last night. Good way to kill a twelve rack. Haha.

    (pictures are a little blurry)

Found this little gem of a swimming hole outside of Cherry Grove yesterday. Lee Falls. Its about a 2-2.5 mile walk past where the road is gated. Pedestrian traffic is ok, whoever runs the place just wants to keep unauthorized vehicles out. Rumor and research has that there is a bigger, more traditional waterfall a few miles upstream. About half way up the road, its gated with a "tampering with this facility is a federal offense" sign. What I heard is you just hit the river instead of the road though. Idk, might have a few pics of that waterfall in a week or so.

I've heard of people parking down at the head having their cars vandalized by locals, you run into anything like that? Been meaning to check this hike out.

I wouldn't be surprised. Haven't heard of that, but I've heard a number of stories about the Cherry Grove area. One of those weird, random rural communities that looks like its main income is welfare. I took my dirtbike all the way to the falls so I didn't have to worry about that. My buddy parked his truck and nobody screwed with it while we where down there.

Not yet. And it sucks. We are putting almost 100 miles a day now on the truck. Filling up every 3 days is pissing me off.

I couldn't imagine sharing a vehicle, and then having to fill it every 3 days with a 100miles a day. Ouch. :( find anything you like yet?

Ford Escape was getting a recall to the level of "do not move it, we will come pick it up"
Apparently they were worried of the thing catching fire on the way back to the dealership!
