I'd buy one if they could get it to the low 20's...unlikely with no 4 cylinder option though...

I've always been a big Jeep fan, but those are some ugly rigs. No thanks.

I've had 2 Jeeps, both were Cherokees, both were crap.

1st was a 1986 loaded Larado back when AMC was still In biz, but it had a GM driveline. Junk. Worse prob was the plastic rear hatch door that broke in half. Traded it on my 1st Toyota pickup within months.

Then, in an example of insanity...I bought a loaded Grand Cherokee in 1998. More junk. One morning after a week of ownership, I backed out of the garage...put her in drive, and it wouldn't move. Nice. I traded that one immediately on a new Chevy SB stepside Z71 truck (that ended up being an excellent truck). Never even made the 1st payment on the Jeep. :D

I also have had Cherokee, Compass, and Patriot rentals when traveling. More junk.

Now, I do like the look of the latest gen Cherokee...but have already seen a few dead on their tracks, and on rollbacks.

    No thanks.

What? Lol. Vehicles with standard manuals usually have an added cost for automatic option. And its probably a different roof option as would be available on any other Wrangler. I hope you were joking and didn't actually read that as you were being charged to have a transmission and a roof period haha.

I've seen the price tags Jeep slaps on vehicles.... Part of the reason I've never even stepped foot in one of their dealerships.

I think the base Wrangler is like $25k

    Here and there. Sometimes.
    Vehicle:

    Head unit. That's it.
IMO it needs 4 full doors and a decent bed...but at that point in time, why not spend 50-60k on an explore Tacoma?!? It will run forever. And it looks better. Cool concept/idea, bad price and marketing.

I think the Rockstars on there look like crap because they are too big. I see potential though.
