I'll get to playing with this eventually, but if anybody's bored and wants to have at it (sorry, should have been cleaner...and better focussed.)

I'm toying with red/white two-tone. Using the upper body lines and inventing a curve to connect/extend them, possibly red below the lower body line and a wide white stripe up the upper lines, red on top (with a possible white stripe or two not really visible in this view). Haven't really seen anything like what I'm thinking of here. That 1950's feel...

Red wheels/white hubs or white wheels/red hubs (can try that out easy on its own before getting into the whole "actually repainting the truck" phase) or go nuts with a red/white spiral on the spinners like an aircraft propeller nose.

not truck related...but work related. trying to turn a photo into a stencil (using a decal plotter) but I need some things tweaked in photoshop. I found a way to do it http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-a-Photo-into-a-Stencil/ but do not have access to photoshop. I already have a file for the wings part, but need the center of the shield separated and the bird separated. if someone could separate these and PM me for my email that'd be great.

    1) separate bird from insignia
    2) separate innards of shield
    3) save above two files
    4) follow link above and edit them/save as new files
    5) email all 4 files to me

Great for a quick feel of what I'm after. Thanks so much! Wheels look great, and I feel like I might be heading the right direction.

My thought on the rear fender upper line/ front body line "gap" was to "swoop" it a bit, following the rear fender line down to the front of the bed or so, and then curving up across the extra cab to meet the front body line, rather than trying to hold it this straight, but a great first look at my vague idea (and major inspiration to start on the rusty wheels, at least!)

Might also bring the lower red up to the body line that is about bumper top level, which might help with the rear fender look at the lower end.

    Thanks again!

Print the photo, sketch the paint line in marker and take a cell phone photo of it and post it. The Tupper will make it happen, and I will if he's busy. Use that multimedia, man.

    Something like:

no cell phone camera. Other than the scanning in part, probably would be faster to print it and use a french curve, but I beat libre office into putting a curve on it not entirely unlike what I'm blithering about here.
