Yep. The owner of the house my bro-in-law and I are working right now is having them do the 3 car garage. So far he isn't happy with them. The foundation looks like ass.

Unions are good for keeping jobs, but it has shown in studies that they are more expensive

well trained labor is more exp....
if the 3/8" is in good shape then there is no need to rip it off.... hell there is no need to rip shingles off either with only 1 layer..."your allowed by code up to 3"
so with all that said"assuming wood is in decent condition" could save yourself major time n money buy just installing a ridge vent and som soffit vents and some new shingles......
as long as your roof in not high 1 story or so off the ground and not have a crazy pitch it should be cake to complete with a friend or too over a weekend......

i have done a few in my lifetime...and now i hear they have pre bumdled starter strips..."no more cutting them to make them"wooot.....

you should have seen last thursday had to go to a meeting and there was our bussiness agent there....
and my company is required under federal law to hire a % of people from the community in order to keep the fed. contracts....
which is bullshit these under qualified people make the same as most of my guys and i bring this up the the bussiness agent and boy did i get the royal run around.....
this "guy" used to work for my boss and i think they talked about this before he got there.......

I was thinking of taking a welding class as well. I think it would cost me about a grand to get to the MIG classes, after welding theory, gas welding, arc welding. etc.
