Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Nothing like shooting chalk rounds out of an automatic grenade launcher...

They gave us 40 rounds to hit 8 targets. I hit 8 for 8 with about 15 rounds so I just peppered the ground with a full burst of the last 25

 

I am stuck in the lake Moses sand sunes. Please can anyone help

Ohhhh boy..gonna wish you have the wide tires for flotation..

10psi would be better for deep sand. Gotta be careful not to slip a bead tho.

 

Brian is down to 12psi. I think i can get the 33s on the rear w/o the lift. that should give me enough float.

So we almost threw a track.cuz the driver didnt check the bolts on the track connectors.so he now has to.go through with a wrench and check all like 2000 bolts in the heat. The torque spec on these bolts is 380-420 ftlbs of wet torque!

 

I'm headed home to get recovery gear I'll post results in a few hours

We all helped him out, well except me. I had sergeant shit to do.so.I was busy but he had like 8 guys helping him and they came up.with a second wrench so.it wasn't so bad just hot.

I know what getting stuck to your axles is like! Lol. It sucks! As far as low psi, I once had to go to 4psi to get out of a snow stuck situation. Didn't slip a beat on the way back to town but sure did stress me out as it is a 6 mile drive through through the windies going down hill. Heard the wheel hit the ground a few times but never lost a bead! That was with 35x12.50R15 MT/R's on 15x10 wheels. The old MT/R's. The really good ones. Lol.
