And im going to get you my info to u about those baffles but the store i was ordering from took to long and now im reevaluating what im going to get

    thanks in advance

Hey Burgman..Actually I do like rear fill but I don't use tweeters behind me since those higher frequencies are what will cause the problem with the soundstage. I typically like to use just a midbass with the same tonal characteristics as the fronts however I have also been known to cut the tweeter wires on coaxials and only use the mid when necessary. :D (I have a simple technique I can teach you that allows the rear speakers to actually "enhance" the front stage as opposed to detracting from it)
BTW, I forgot to let you know that I did in fact start another group buy on the Hybrid Audio gear.

Im not sure if ill be able to have enough money for the Hybrid's but if i did what would be a good speaker in the rear that matches up with them, it would have to be pretty cheap

thanks again Marv, your an amazing asset to TW

Thanks for the kind words Burgman! :) You have probably noticed around here that I preach how important the front speakers are for any system you want to sound great. Also, my recommendation is to always get the "best" you can for the front since one "excellent" set of speakers (installed properly of course!) will sound better than two "OK" sets of speakers. When budget requires me to I have used several different inexpensive coaxials for "ambient fill" including Pioneers/Eclipse/Alpine/DLS/Polk etc and all have worked out very well when used for "ambient fill" with the Clarus. The key is I cut the tweeter wires (I have found that the tweeters are usually the worst part of most inexpensive coaxials anyway!) and I have a couple of very simple tuning tricks to get them to enhance the front stage nicely. Also, I always use a 5 1/4" since they are much cheaper than 6.5's and you won't need the additional cone area anyway.

Almost forgot, if you are unable to do the entire amount for the group buy up front just contact me and I will work something out for you. :)

I have found that with just 75 watts of "real" power these bad boys will sing louder than most anybody would ever listen! :)

Sounds good and I wouldn't have a problem with installments if needed! :)

Marv it doesnt look like ill be able to spend that much on those speakers so my question is do you prefer 6.5 over 6x9?

No worries! When using a sub I prefer to have 6.5" components but if not I use a good set of 6x9's to get more bottom end. :) In that case I also prefer 6x9 components because they usually have a "better" tweeter with mounting cups to allow installation flexibility and adjustable passive crossovers that allows you to tailor the level between the mid/tweeter for your specific application. :)

I have another question. I plan on getting Boston Acoustics SL60 6.5 components that have a power rating at 80 watts rms 220 watts max, but the amp i was going to get is a 4x50. So my question is: will that amp be powerfull enough to properly power the speakers and if i have it at full power is that bad for it?

That amp will power those speakers "properly" however with the gains set using a 0db reference you would not get full output from the speakers. There are some "tricks of the trade" that allow you to "squeeze" more power from an amp however I don't think I will post them because if not utilized properly someone may end up blowing their speakers and I don't want to be responsible for that! Also, any "good" amp installed properly will run at full power for quite some time without any issues. :)
