What happened to global warming?

I can go to the seashore and find high tide is no higher than it was 40 years ago in the same places.
I drive on a tidal salt flat, that gets flooded a few times a year on the highest lunar tides, so it is just inches above the typical high tide point. I have driven on it 38 years ago, and I can drive on it today.
The point being if sea levels were rising, then this tide flat would be flooded daily at every high tide, or underwater all the time, if sea levels have risen.

Whether you want to argue if it's anthropogenic or not, that's your prerogative, and I'll leave that up to all the pseudo Nobel Laureate scientists that post on sports/truck/video game forums.

But you cannot deny the fact, or raw data, that the surface temperatures of globe, on average, are on a warming trend since the mid-70s.

2) the Earth is warming / climate is changing but it is a natural cycle
3) the Earth is warming / climate is changing , it is both a natural cycle and a reaction to our influence on the Earth
