Hey guys I want to start a Facebook page named AZ Toyota Tacoma Club. I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner its pretty stock but a first car to me. My friend has a 1999 Tacoma Prerunner and that makes 2 people all ready. I know there is some badass Tacoma's here in AZ and I would like them to been in our Facebook page. We can do offroading and cruses aswell and show off our own Tacoma's. Let me know what you guys think. I will not go threw with this if does not go well!

I asked this same question before.

There are clubs out here but it does not sound like any of them are really much more organized then this forum.

From what I could find out, if I wanted to join a club the best would be one of the established 4x4 clubs that's open to all 4x4s. Just seems like Tacoma owners just really are not into clubs.

There is a really good FJ club and a Landcruiser club but...

Well I'm an old dude so....

But the guys on here are pretty cool, and there are a lot of people that organize meets and runs from the forum. You'll find out that there is kind of an East Side Crew and a West Side Crew that meet on a regular basis. But if your up for starting a club, more power to ya!

its a real select group. Most don't or flake. I had a weekly meet for months but it was the same 5 of us everytime. Most of time we just get together and don't post it. Also depending on the person some don't like to wheel with anyone out side of the group unless someone else recommends them because they can ruin the day if someone rolls or really damages their rig.

There are about 20 or so people on AZT4WDA that get together often. Normally its something thats posted using our FB page or via phone. I hang with the AZFJ guys and the AZT4WDA guys.

If you all want regular events PM with ideas I have no prolem putting something together as a standard weekly meet like I was doing my Monday meets. The biggest thing is that people don't show I'm not going go spend my whole night hanging out waiting.

I pretty much consider TW's Arizona section to be the 'Toyota Club'. We all post meets, and just random 'lets get some beers here' quite often.

I've been apart of car clubs in the past, and really wasn't much different then what we do here, other than the monthly meetup, which only half the people would make.

I created the page just to get as many likes as possible, get a general count of how many people are part of the TW community AZ section, post pics of your truck and just chill. I didn't make it to go wheeling or anything like that because I would suck at setting it up. I pretty much join other people I don't create events. So like I said I pretty much just made it so it can be there. Not trying to over run anything.

That don't count you guys are teenagers so that means they are still only in their 40s then! haahah! J/K

But your right, lot of those clubs are older guys.
