Agreed, I'm not in a hurry. Mid May works for me just fine. I'm not going anywhere. I too appreciate the effort it takes to set up and run a GB such as this.

Keep on with the good work you're doing man. :)

P&L is the one jerking everyone around on the '09's. They need to get their shit together!

I give Dan alot of credit, I would never take on a GB myself, I would never have the time!

haha thanks guys. Honestly if you don't want to wait I understand perfectly and it is your last few days to get a No fee refund (on paypal). It just means less I have to repackage on my own time.

I donot mind doing tacomaworld members the favor, but if you don't appreciate it then I would rather not. And I especially don't need PMs telling me you are getting anxious. NO SHIT the group buy is out of my hands so do you not think I feel the most anxious out of all? And for those of you who don't mind the wait: THANKS a ton and you will be happy with the deal.

I am in until whenever they get here. I don't think P&L is jacking Daniel around on the PL5300. I think they are jacking around everyone. Check with other dealers of the P&L 5300 and you will find that they are waiting just like we are. I am not sure what the problem is with the delay but I have been waiting since October. A few more days is no big deal. I just hope it is a few more days, not a few more months.

Most likely related to the bad economy... they likely had to cut their workforse like everyone else in the auto industry. They aren't going to tell you that they are in bad financial shape because they need the orders. Anyways, I can wait, and I am appreciative.

Unfortunately, I had ordered the PL5300 in March before finding this group buy and like all of you I am still waiting. I sent an email to P+L requesting the latest target date for release and posted below is their response.

Best guesstimate is sometime next month - May/09. There is still some testing that needs to be done by Toyota and that is the best date that production can give me at this time.

I really can't figure out P & L. I really think there is a turd in the punch bowl. :(

Edited: My comment was pointed at P & L, not Daniel who has expended a lot of his time, particularly for a busy young man in school. I just wanted to make that clear. I am still pissed at P & L.

If I knew this crap from P & L would have dragged on this long I would have done a DIY mod myself and posted it for all of my buds. It can't be rocket science to make a lock for the '09 Taco.

Curious George here. If this buy was over 4/8 why are we still posting about it?

Because there is no reason to open a new thread when information becomes available from Pop N Lock about the items that are going to be purchased from this group buy.
