    Toytech Ultimate Lift Kit, LR UCA's, T3 eyelids, 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, FN Type X wheels, Debadged, Homer Taco Raptor Grill and lower valance grill, painted lower valance, blacked out skid plate, Flyze Eye interior light, LED interior lights, EZ down tailgate
    After reading as many posts as I cold about lifts, shocks, coilovers, suspensions, etc I am more educated about them for sure. I am also just as unsure what to get! I have basically decided on Toytech's Bilstein coilovers ($900 package) for a 3" lift. Since you guys run these in this thread, how do you like them? How does the ride compare to stock? It seems like this set up is a good way to go...

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    You will hate the ride of the coilovers cranked to 3" lift compared to stock. It'll be really stiff. Since you are a Prerunner I would suggest 5100's with Toytec/Eibach springs. You don't have to worry about the CV with anything *under* 2" so these would be a better choice.

    Most of us are running the 5100 blistein shock with Eibach coils. Not the toyotech coil overs them selves. My dad is running them on his 2nd gen tho and they ride good.

    However for the money, they aren't worth it IMO. They are rebuild able or able to changing the valving like most CO that for a few hundred more you could get.

    So really I'd just get the 5100/eibachs..or some Fox or King coil overs.

    Wtf are you talking about?

    You don't have to worry about the CVs for anything UNDER 2-2.5". Anything over and your very likely to tear boots but by doing the boot slide mod you can help prevent this.

    Also since he could pick which coil rate to get, the ride will not be the tad with them cranked. And that will have more to do with the valving then the coils.


    However is since yes he is a prernunner I still think he should get some extended travel foxes for a good mid travel setup.

    I have never had frame issues..but I have stupid low back spacing...however I rub like a bitch on the fenders and pinch weld...due to stupid low back spacing

    I just read that 5100's will be too short for the rear if i lift it 1.5 to 2 inches. Is this true. HELP!!! I just ordered my 5100 and can call and get them replaced if I get help fast enough. Should I get 5125's instead??????

    i was told by DSM that with the 2" AAL the 5100's work fine in the rear.
    I haven't full drooped yet but I have 5100's installed with 2" aal.

    Ya if you decide to go past 3" of lift tho...then you'll need 9" 5125s and 10" 5150s or 10" 5125s for 4" of lift

    Just wanted to give a heads up - i know i've heard alot of people saying that the billies do not come with bushings etc....

    both my 5100 & 5125 came with all new....

    5100 + 5125 = identical shock...
