For the last few weeks I thought he was trolling this thread, it was just today that I realized he was being for real.

The questions are not newbie questions, he asked if he needed bump stops and limit straps because he thought the leafs were strong enough. That's just being to lazy to do homework. For such a large cost of both time and money he should really try to grasp the basics.

when you weld the spring hanger and shackle hanger...how do you know exactly where to weld it? is the front on just mounted same spot as stock? the the other one at 50. whatever inches eye to eye? lol

mock everything up and do a lot of measuring before you burn it on there permanately. Cycle the springs at full droop full bump ect. take note of the shackles position at bump and droop, if you have a traditional shackle you ideally want that thing to be at 90* at full drop and at bump you want to make sure it doesnt come into contact w/the frame. kind of the basics right there i guess. That magic number of 52.5" eye to eye is for older yotas not ours.

Yes you have the option to use your front stock mount if you want.
For the rear, I break it down to the main leaf and cycle it. Then choose the best spot according to the geometry and size shackles you choose. Depending on what company kit you choose, they usually will tell you the spot to mount it. But I just go off of my own cycling and use what they say as a ball park figure
