    Yea, it was an exciting night. Long story short on that video. They saw insurgents setting up 12 240mm rockets. BIG rockets, 4 man lift, 200+kg, BIG. So the brits shot illumination rounds at them to scare them off. WHen they did they shot the rockets at us, we tracked then all, shot down 7 of 9 that landed inside the base. 3 that landed outside we didnt care about and the 2 we didnt hit landed in empty dirt lots. No one died that night, although a couple pairs of paints got souled I am sure.

    At the end of it you hear the gunner screw "GET SOME FUCKING H.E." because the guys actually got a counter fire mission because where the launched from was in the middle of the desert, usually they launched from the middle of the populated Basra city and we couldnt fire back.

    This video shows what we had to deal with. The big white rockets about 2/3 of the way through this are 240mm. The begining video shows an attack we had where they set all these up inside a building, cut the walls off and had everything on timers so right before the rockets went off the wall collapsed into the street and all these rockets started firing at us.
