    It is.

    I used semi gloss though.

I've used that specific primer and paint (semi gloss or flat) for everything:

Rear bumper, front bumper inserts, dash pieces, vent cowl, wiper arms and door handles.

It's all holding up just fine.

Im curious as to how you apply the dye. Do you rub it on with a rag or do you dip it?

Spray it :D comes in a rattle can. It's a nice spray pattern too! I like it.

    Couldn't agree more.

Makes it real easy to laid down a nice, smooth and even coat.

    It's actually $250 for one.

    I'm sure they're nice, but I think I'll pass...

Yes, they plug right in. You just have to remove the old sealed beam units and replace them with the Truck-Lites.

The pics I took with my iPhone look like doo-doo - I'll try to get some better ones with a real camera.

So do you think this paint is better than the Rust-oleum made specifically for plastic?

Yeah, Amazon does charge $250 each but I think they're inflating the MSRP a bit. I was able to find mine on eBay for $185 and $235. Still pretty pricey, but I'm at peace with it...

I have no experience with the Rustoleum plastic specific paint. When I asked the guy at Hommie D he recommended this stuff. Works fine. I'll be interested to see how my grille holds up through a winter, that'll be the test for me.

I agree that the ad is a little misleading. I initially thought they were $250/set too, but I have first hand knowledge of the fact that they're sold individually.

I'm still extremely happy with them. My spontaneous self placates my financial self by stating that I plan on keeping my Taco for a LONG time and that they'll never need to be replaced... :argue:
