Lol. Not 9,000 hp . It would run 9,000 rpm and hold together (not blow up)
With a two stroke, it's all about rpm's ....more rpm = more hp

Light weight and balanced crankshaft and connecting rod .....if installed correctly.....can make a HUGE difference in rpm output

    ;)

It's peak HP output was 65.3 bhp

With me on the bike, it weighed 375lbs .... So approx 1:5 ratio (hp:lb)

But my new KTM 530exc would stomp that kx125 out the holeshot, and top end

WOW its getting deep in here with all this 125 talk.....On a more serious note i ride a 12 250xcf. Stock with the exception of an auto clutch and some guards. It is tagged, in AL you can tag pretty much anything.

I had a crf250x before I bought my 450 and the only thing that stopped me from getting a crf450x was that I rode both the ktm and Honda 450s and the ktm had some much more power it wasn't even funny

Used to. No more. Didn't seem to change much for me. I ported and polished and it seemed to not make a difference afterward. So I got rid of the bulk.
