Do it man.....I LOVE my Icons!

Still firm on road without a sway bar but off road its smooth as can be. I will get some 2.5" rears once I have the $$. A bigger shock in the back is the best way to go since the rear takes such a beating and can't keep up!

Lol. Yeah its hidden in that thread somewhere..

I used a very small razor blade, but Im sure a regular box cutter will work too, and a small flat head screwdriver..

I used the screwdriver to pry up the emblem just enough to get the blade under it, and then cut the soft plastic tabs that hold It to the steering wheel. Be careful and patient. I got a few light scratches on the black part of the steering wheel, but hardly noticeable. It took about 15-20 mins to remove.

For re-installing.. I used two part epoxy and added a small amount to the entire bottom of the emblm, and press and held in place until it set. That was months ago and no issues with any of the epoxy or paint.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the look out man. I'm thinking I'm gonna do the 2.5's. Go big or go home ya know. Plus, its not much more for the 2.5's vs the 2.0's. :)

I'm ready to get defined shackles ASAP but i know im going to need to get some shockhoops/towers made becasue there isnt any shocks available to fit into my 15.5" collapsed 26"+ extended shock mounts. Theres no point of getting the shackles without going custom first so thats where im stuck at

Niiiice :) it will probably be a ways out for me.. have other stuff I want to get done first.

Thanks man! I thought youve seen It. Lol

Is this in general or just your set up?

Why don't you have shock hoops made like Patrick?

For me tho.. ill be good right? The 2.5's are regular length and should bolt right up. Minus the hole for the resi mount. Lol

you should be good because your leafs are stock. since Patrick and I both want to get all the benefit of the allpro springs we need to go into longer than factory lenght shocks & mounts.

atleast we talked you out of getting those 200lbs bags.

Ahhh ok. Is that because the allpro ones are stiffer?

I'm excited for the icon leafs.. :)

Lol. It was a quick and easy way. I thought it might work for my needs.. lol

I love my rear set up, perfect for what I need :)

Josh the reason a shock hoop worked for me and will work for davis is because we both want to have good amounts of up travel, while maintaing a significant amount of droop, with the factory location there just isn't a shock that can do that. also notice how much bigger a 2.5" is

some eye candy for you David :)

Shit, the resi is big as hell too! That looks nice!

David, the RCD extended length 5100s are perfect for me 16-27" and my compressed length is only 17.....yours may be diff though! Their just temp till I get icon 2.5" rears in that custom length (oh yes, they do that) lol!

The 5100's are working good for me too but theres nothing with a resi that fits like them, i also want to get the DE extended shackle which will put me in about the 16-28" range so a 12" shock will have to be used.

Pat: the BAMF mini towers seem pretty beefy too

Edit: your hoops seem to be about 2" higher than BAMF's. that will eat up into my compression
