Been there, did that for months. It's not worth that much. He'll get trade offers, but nobody is willing to pay that much for a 5 year old truck with 120k miles on it.

With the 4.88 gears, it's an absolute pain to drive on the freeway. It you don't baby it, the gas mileage is horrible. The LSD vibrates, and is noisy and the maintenance cost of that fully modified truck absolutely sucks!

I'd be willing to bet he's getting rid of it for the same reason that I did.

I'm up in Prattville for the week. Anybody know some good trails to hit? Probably nothing too serious in case I need pulling out, unless I can find somebody else who wants to go. Just some off roading to get off the pavement and use the 4wd a lil' bit. ;)

Blah, the stupid DTRL lights are starting to melt my lens covers and I'm out of warranty. At least I caught it before I needed new assemblies. Anyone with the factory "DTRL's" watch out for that, the turn signals weren't designed to be on 24/7.

Haha. It's really not that hard. The only difficult part is taking the dash apart enough to pull the whole fuse block out, since it's at the back.

I'm actually going to swap in an LED non-dtrl flasher and junction box (there's a writeup on it) and then stick LED turn signals in.

No DTRL + no-heat LED bulbs = no more melting. Tired of that.

You undo the battery negative, whole truck is dead, pull the block out, snip the red and green wire, wire it to a switch, bolt humpty dumpty back up and done.

Easy peasy! Like, seriously. If I do ever make it to another meet I could probably help do it. I just don't even want to have DTRLs anymore at all. If it's foggy that's why I put in... fog lights. For the fog.

That's what that does. It's like a $5 junction box and a $38 flasher, but the third-party flasher I got elsewhere for LEDs is supposed to handle both LEDs and filaments and is about $20 shipped instead. It just has no circuit to hyperflash when your bulb is going out.

Wish I was home I'd go with you. I live in that area. There really is not much for offroading there...go into wetumpka and up towards titus and you can find some decent trails though.
