I did the flares on my XJ with the same stuff about a year ago and it's held up well. Didn't know about the hot water trick so I'll try that next time.

Funny enough, I am:rasta::D. This is actually only the second time in my life that I have renewed a driver license. '04 was the first time, and that was after 4 years, now it's 8 years for a renewal. From '95 till 2000, I drove without one, got reallly lucky and changed my driving habits. I also drive a Tacoma that I've had up to 89mph as a max, and that was passing on a highway. I try to keep within 5 over locallly, within 10 over on local expressways, and about 13 over on the interstates. So far, so good. Only 1 ticket in the last 16 years. NO MORE MUSCLE CARS OR TRUCKS!!!:D (till I grow up anyway:thumbsup:)

I was heading out to spray a white-face hornet's nest. I've had allergic reactions to stings ever since getting stung 60-70 times up one leg as a teenager. Hornets in the pants. I originally had a helmet on, but decided getting a hornet in the helmet would suck worse than just one in the hair.

The nest I was going after had been sprayed at night 3 different times with all sorts of foaming and non-foaming stuff. This time it was BrakeKleen! 3 cans in the hole and nothing came out this time.:woot:

1). About 10 years ago, I was driving an Econoline 150, straight 6 with a five speed. No shirt on and felt something tumble down my back. I was doing about 30mph coming up to a stopsign for Main St. The hornet started stinging me at the beltline. I locked the e-brake, stuffed 1st gear, shut off the key and stepped out the door...at about 20mph. Did the 5-step- running-stop, while dropping my jeans, (commando:eek:). So, I'm "dancing" about 20 yards from Main St. with my pants around my ankles, trying to get the bee off my fucking sock, and the van is doing that lurching stop in the first lane of Main. Traffic is stopped in both directions and I finally killed the bee! I was sure to let everyone know the bee was dead and I was OK as I backed back out of the intersection.

2). A couple years later in a topless jeep. A bumble bee hit the windshield edge, then my shoulder, then buzzed around my nuts. At about 60mph, I got my seatbelt off and was halfway into the back seat when my wife decided to scream "wtf are you doing" while grabbing the wheel. I don't understand why she didn't get that there was a bee on my seat:notsure:. She did kill it so I could go back to driving.

So anyhow, I'm afraid of bees, hornets, wasps, yellow jackets etc. When the killer bees get this far north, I'm gonna become a Canadian. If any of you ever meet me and I'm running at you screaming BEEBEEBEEBEEBEE like a little girl, just step to the side, I promise to not change directions...or slow down!!!

So yes, that is my bee killing suit, along with Carhart bibs.

Sorry for the long babble, I figured an explaination was due! Fuck, my hair is standing on end just thinking about the fucking bees.

Yup, every 8 years now. It was $65 here, plus an eye-test. I took mine with my contacts in. With them in, I see out there just fine, but I can't see shit within 18" of me. Without them, I can't read house numbers and sstreet signs, a bitch when doing house call service work. Old age is killing me!:)
