    how did you hardwire in your GPS? I'm trying to do the same but wanted to mount it up by the headliner. I'd relocate it if I could get it to look that clean, though.

    I mount mine up beside the rearview mirror on the drivers side.

    i cut the gps power cable at the lighter socket end, then drilled a small hole in the radio shroud to fit the cable through. then put two extra female power ports behind the dash and tapped the cigarette lighter for power.

    Thanks, found what I was looking for. Turns out GARMIN uses a 17mm ball.
