...you weren't paying attention....my "point" is this is dejavu, ...they've cried wolf before, ...they are on their "third" attempt w/ "climate change", ...and amidst the leaks and admissions by former alarmists that the gig is up, ...some folks still lend credibility... do so at your own peril... ;)

you THINK and BELIEVE rather than provide data.. this is typical of an emotional argument rather than a logical one. Volcanoes do more damage to the atmosphere than humans, why don't you pool money to cap those off.

"Climate change" and "Global warming" dont happen over night... They also dont happen in 10 years. You make it seem like its going to be some sort of "Day after tomorrow" type scenario if it does happen. The fact is simple. We as humans are affecting the earth and climate by populating, expanding, and evolving. It might be tens of centuries before something happens or it may just get slightly worse every year.
They may be "crying wolf" as you say, but really they are just noticing abnormal changes in the earths cycle. I take the information with a grain of salt. May be true, may not be. But the fact is when it does start affecting us and our environment, we will be kicking ourselves for not doing anything.

the problem is trying to fake a trend over an epoch in time so miniscule that is "in the noise level" of the planet's known history, ..let alone the dramitic reversals in the alleged "trend" (1970 is was global cooling), then 30 yrs later global warming, ...now since they didn't close the sale, and people remember the 1970s, they change the name to "climate change", ...when you boil it down, it's all the same: B.S. ;)

Also, who is the "they" that are plotting . . . something?

A few additional thoughts. There is measurable change in temperature that spans to at least the '50s. Things have just gotten more severe in the last ten years.

Follow the money? Really? Follow your own advice. The energy companies put a hell of a lot more money into stopping climate change regulation than the environmentalists could ever hope to.

Yes, the temperature changes we have seen so far are noise when considered in the context of the planet's life and the extremes it has experienced. In fact, it has been much, much hotter in the past. However, those periods were too hot to support human life. Returning to such temperatures would be bad for us. Well, our grandchildren.

I'm saying you only "think" and believe. Now you're saying things are fact without backing it up with .org or even better .edu scientific articles. This doesn't pass college paper muster.

    The better coast
Go back a few pages, plenty of linked data. And if you don't believe atmosphere change then plug your exhaust pipe and sit in your car; A simple small scale experiment.

The earth has had period if warming and cooling, but it is happening at a much fast rate with the burning of fossil fuels. And with a growing out of control population it will only get worse.
